Not sure how that rumor got started, but I guess it has been awhile. The summer school kids actually all made it...I did some major bargaining at the end, but they all earned passing grades...really, it's not like I gave any free passes, but what would be accomplished by those kids spending another year in the same grade??? OK, maybe there was a little selfish motivation there...
But I thought with summer school over I'd have all this spare time, but waiting on the shamefully-tipping MosDef/Wu Tang crowd at the Comcast takes up a lot of my time. You know it's a bad show when even the VIP crowd had to be reminded to please not flash their bosoms. I weep for the future.
Can you believe it's nearly August? Bah! I have to start unpacking my classroom soon. School will be upon me in no time. That's OK. I love the fall. There's a lot to get done before then, though.
Rob is getting ready for the PanMass Challenge. Wish they televised that with the same coverage as the Tour de France. We could tune in and watch Rob each day, "Oh, he seems to be getting chilly. He's gonna want to zip up that shell before he hits this down hill stretch. And he's still a full two minutes ahead of the Pelaton."
Could we all be good enough to give to Rob's fundraising efforts?

I'm the worst culprit (ok maybe second worst, right Rob ;-) ) here, but let's all try to remember.
The indoor team has another game tomorrow night at 9 in Bridgewater. I think our last game was our season low-point. One sub. An own goal off my face (Gary's assist) and a thumb injury. And we got shut out. But you know what, the beer is still good at Castaway's afterwards.
Speaking of low points...the Red Sox? I lost a bet to my grandfather on the first Yankee game. Thinking, since we were going and all, there was no way they'd lose (Rob and I have a perfect record this season. Had.) I'm blaming this one on a certain history teacher though...Grrr. At least Jess and Emily were good enough to trade off seats every 3 innings so no one had to sit next to Rob for a full 9. Tee hee. Man, imagine how I treat my second favorite brother!
My cable modem stopped working, which is really annoying...haven't been able to fix it yet, so I'm at Panera. Really, I needed a turkey sandwich...
But I'm being lazy about calling Comcast as I'm moving at the end of the month...end of August, that is. Not really looking forward to the moving process but it will be good financially and gets me 5 minutes from school. Oh well.
OK, I can only listen to the Stoughton-ites talk so much about their crazy boyfriends for so long. Time for a bucket of balls I think.
